Museo Rafael Larco Herrera

A oferta de museus em Lima é compreensivelmente enorme – não fosse o país inteiro um imenso sítio arqueológico, um lugar onde a sensação que se tem é que basta escavar um pouquinho para descobrir tesouros inimagináveis das eras pré-colombianas. (Um outro país onde tive essa impressão foi o México – também compreensivelmente!)

Considerando que tínhamos 3 dias, uma oferta inacreditável de museus e nenhuma vontade de abrir mão de outros prazeres para dar exclusiva dedicação a esse, era necessário escolher a dedo quais museus visitaríamos. Escolhemos o Museo Rafael Larco Herrera para o primeiro dia, principalmente pela tão falada coleção de arte erótica pré-colombiana.

O Larco Herrera está situado no bairro Pueblo Libre, onde se chega facilmente de táxi, e gastando pouco, caso o turista já esteja bem treinado na arte da pechincha… 😉 No nosso caso, a corrida de uns 15 a 20 minutos custou 8 soles, mas foi negociada por um dos funcionários do hotel. Consegui o trajeto seguinte, do Larco Herrera até a Plaza de Armas, por 9 soles, mas sem a exata noção de estar ou não fazendo um bom negócio. Da Plaza de Armas de volta a Miraflores, mais precisamente ao Shopping Larcomar, consegui pagar 10 soles – esse, sim, acho que foi um ótimo negócio! (Na época, R$1 equivalia a 1,5 sol, ou seja, nosso transporte custou baratérrimo!)

Os ingressos para os museus de Lima não custam barato – não que sejam caros, apenas regulam de preço com outros museus, em outros países. Na época, pagamos 30 soles, cerca de US$ 10. O ingresso dá direito a visitar tanto a exposição permanente quanto as temporárias.

Antes mesmo de entrar no museu, eu já estava achando que a visita tinha valido a pena. O Larco Herrera tem uma área externa super bonita e bem cuidada.
